Broadsword has marked 29 years of Ultima Online with a livestream that set out additions coming in New Legacy Season 2, and with a gift veteran characters can claim by logging in.

The 29th anniversary stream doubled as a briefing on New Legacy Season 2. Broadsword detailed tutorial updates, a new Chivalry skill line for Warriors and Rangers, 31 further heirlooms and the return of the antiquities system. Pure Mages are getting new items that reduce mana costs and speed up casting recovery.
Separately, the Reaping event starts this weekend on the Sakura and Legends shards, where players can test themselves against the realm's toughest foes for rewards.
