Bring Me The Horizon and Spiritbox singers front Valorant's Champions 2026 anthem

“If The Sun Burns Out Tonight”, produced by Grabbitz, arrives shortly before Valorant Champions Shanghai opens on September 24.

Riot Games has revealed the Valorant Champions 2026 anthem, a track titled “If The Sun Burns Out Tonight” that pairs Bring Me The Horizon frontman Oli Sykes with Spiritbox vocalist Courtney LaPlante over production by Grabbitz, Esports.gg reports. Riot shared a snippet through a behind-the-scenes video, and the song is available to pre-save on music platforms ahead of a release shortly before Valorant Champions begins on September 24.

The snippet is heavier and grungier than the anthems Riot has released in recent years, which have leaned on rap. It is Grabbitz's fourth Valorant track, after “Die for You” in 2021, “Fire Again” with Ashnikko in 2022 and “Ticking Away” with bbno$ in 2023. Earlier Valorant anthems have also featured K-pop group KISS OF LIFE.

For Sykes, the anthem is a first collaboration with Valorant.

I've always been drawn to projects that blur the lines between storytelling and music, so working with Riot Games, alongside Grabbitz and Courtney, and becoming part of the VALORANT world felt like a really natural fit.

LaPlante is new to Valorant but not to Riot: she performed “Ties That Bind” for an official cinematic for the fighting game 2XKO. She said Sykes had given her the chance to perform live with Bring Me The Horizon many times over the years and that the anthem is the first thing the two have released together, adding that Grabbitz built a song tailored to all three voices.

Oli, Courtney, and I came together from different corners of the globe, and landed on a track that sits effortlessly between my electronic world and the heavy landscapes of Bring Me The Horizon and Spiritbox.

Both acts arrive with awards-season credentials. Bring Me The Horizon is a two-time Grammy nominee with multi-platinum sales, and Spiritbox has two Grammy nominations of its own. Bob DeBelina, music artist partnerships manager at Riot Games, called working with two of the most respected voices in modern heavy music an incredible honour.

The anthem lands just before the tournament it is named for. Valorant Champions Shanghai runs from September 24 to October 18, and Paper Rex and EDward Gaming have already qualified, PCGamesN reports.
