Virtus.pro have announced that Ilya "Perfecto" Zalutskiy has left the organisation, making the Counter-Strike 2 rifler a free agent and ending a stint that began in June 2025.
Perfecto joined the roster in June 2025 to fill the slot vacated by the benching of Timur "FL4MUS" Marev. HLTV reports that Virtus.pro were already a team in decline when they signed him, and that the move did little to arrest the slide: the side struggled through the following months and suffered early exits at nearly every event they attended.
His role widened as the results failed to improve. When Denis "electroNic" Sharipov was benched, Perfecto took over as the team's in-game leader — a promotion that, on HLTV's account, changed the trajectory no more than the signing had.
Since joining the Bears in June 2025, Perfecto has represented our colors at the highest level of CS2. We'd like to thank him for his professionalism, dedication, and everything he brought to the team.
A reset at the bottom of the rankings
The decline steepened at the start of 2026. According to HLTV, Virtus.pro lost every match they played in that stretch, including defeats to RUSTEC and WW, and fell to 100th in the Valve Regional Standings — a low the organisation responded to with a clearout rather than a single substitution.
Perfecto was benched alongside Evgenii "FL1T" Lebedev and Petr "fame" Bolyshev as Virtus.pro moved to rebuild around players from their academy system. The release announced now formalises that separation for Perfecto and closes a year-long spell that produced little for either side.
Perfecto is a one-time Major winner and enters the market as one of the more decorated players available. Virtus.pro have not said how they intend to fill the vacancy, and no new team has been named for the player.
