Blizzard has posted a round of World of Warcraft hotfixes alongside the weekly reset, pairing nerfs in the Venomous Abyss raid and the Mythic+ dungeon pool with a broad pass of class and PvP tuning. Wowhead published the notes.
Raid changes
The Coiled Altar loses 10% of Malacrass's phase 3 health on Normal and Heroic, and the absorb value of Veil of Twilight drops by 15% on the same difficulties. Malacrass now casts Dreadmarch on all players 10 seconds after he enrages, Sever's vulnerability aura no longer lasts longer than intended, and Eternal Nightfall can no longer be affected by Curse of Tongues or similar effects.
Ula'tek is mostly corrected rather than cut, with one clear difficulty reduction: the number of players required to soak Serpent's Bite has been reduced across the range of raid sizes. Ula'tek's Venomous Heart has had its target location corrected so area spells hit it and the boss more consistently, Greasy Hatchling now lasts 35 seconds instead of 20, and players crossing the venom pools are protected from being targeted by Virulent Spit. Against that, players affected by Calcified Corpse now radiate heavy raid damage on Heroic and Mythic.
Vashnik the Malignant sees fewer Malignant Totems per cast and adjusted totem spawn locations, along with a fix for Imbibe inflicting more damage than intended on Normal and Heroic. Across the Venomous Abyss zone itself, creature spawns are reduced, doors need less blood to open, Venom Withdrawal deals 30% less damage for half as long, and Serpent Ward health is down 75%.
Mythic+ tuning
The Tidebound Grotto draws the longest list of dungeon nerfs. Nymrissa Wavecaller loses 5% health on Heroic and 10% on Mythic, Abyssal Rain's initial damage falls by 12.5% and its periodic damage by 12% on Heroic and 20% on Mythic, and Frost Burst damage drops by 40%. Shatter now occurs after 40 seconds rather than 30, and each murloc wave brings two Bubblefin Frostscales instead of three.
The Blinding Vale has its enemy forces requirement raised to 686 from 655 with density reduced in the final area, while Potatoad Matriarch is worth 60 enemy forces instead of 30 and loses 10% health. Ruby Life Pools and Temple of Sethraliss both get pack swaps with their enemy forces requirements adjusted to keep routing unchanged, and Murder Row picks up fixes for Malefic Wave failing to hit and an uninteractable Row Snitch.
Class tuning
Warlock receives the run's largest number: Imp, Voidwalker, Sayaad and Felhunter damage is up 350%, which Blizzard said should also ease aggro concerns in solo play. Frost Death Knight, which the developers said "has performed under our expectations at the beginning of Curse of Ula'tek, especially in the Venomous Abyss raid," gains 6% to all ability and melee damage and 15% to Obliterate. Restoration Druid and Preservation Evoker are buffed with dungeons in mind, with the Druid changes paired with slight cuts to its raid healing, and Retribution Paladin's Divine Arbiter set bonus is up 150% on the main target. A separate PvP-only pass cuts Demon Hunter defensives and Fire Mage execute damage while raising Feral Druid and Augmentation Evoker.
